AmuxAmux Product Overview

The "intelligent" Amux MultiReach provides a cost-effective solution for the interconnection of a wide range of voice and data interfaces into communication networks which may include microwave radios, higher order multiplexers and optical transmission equipment.

The Amux MultiReach can be easily configured as a Terminal, Dual Terminal, Drop Insert or Multiport, Non-blocking or Branching/Cross Connect Multiplex, simply by installing the appropriate cards in the same common shelf.

Amux   supports CLI (Calling Line Identification) information transfer in transparent mode.

In addition to its versatility of application in public telecommunications networks, the Amux MultiReach ideal for use by utility companies (railways, electricity, oil, gas and mining) and for private telecommunication networks.

The flexibility and of the Amux MultiReach gives to network operators the ability to configure all performance parameters, including timeslots assignment, channels level and data transmission parameters either locally, using a PC/Laptop, or via the network.

In both cases user-friendly software enables reconfiguration at any time, should the requirements for voice and data transmission grow or change.

The system allows also alarms setting with consequent actions, diagnostic loop-back at 2Mbit/s and channel levels and fault book consultation of the entire Amux MultiReach network elements.

Commissioning becomes a simple process due to the ability of the A mux MultiReach to be reconfigured. The key information is stored in non-volatile memory on an easily removed daughter-board.
