HLC16 Product Overview
The operator console HLC16,
in conjunction with the Hot Line assembly WHL1, forms the basic block
to set-up reliable communication between distant points when two voice
circuits, running preferentially on un-correlate paths, are made
available.
The equipment is mainly composed of a core unit, housing in a 6 RU 19"
sub-rack the power supply, processor card, line cards and the remote
operator console, from where voice communications take place.
Consoles are designed to satisfy the following functional requirements:
■ maximum
sixteen redundant hot-lines capability with in-band tone injection for
continuos line integrity test and automatic changeover
■ 4 wire+E&M, 4 wire and 2 wire circuits supported
■ luminescent push buttons for line selection (off when idle, flashing during incoming call, steady at connection established)
■ buzzer for operator attention
■ ringing time-out for unattended call
■ dual operator hand-sets and line engaging buttons for independent lines handling
■ selectable hands-free facility on main hand-set
■ dry contact available for alarm monitoring
■ slim line desk-top console
■ heavy duty push-buttons, hand-sets and cables
■ -48 Vdc supply from standard TLC power system. |
